ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Vladan – the creative mind behind Vlasta Weddings, which I run together with my wife, Emina.
Photography has always felt like second nature to me. I was fortunate to grow up in a world shaped by images. My mother has been a professional photographer for over 35 years and was my first and most important teacher.
I spent my childhood in her studio, absorbing the craft and witnessing photography evolve through the decades.
Interestingly, photography wasn’t always my path. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a professional tennis player – a dream I chased all the way to the national team. I'm also a licensed tennis coach and hold a Master’s degree in sports. But my creative side kept calling.
Before fully dedicating myself to weddings, I worked in fashion as a visual commercial manager for a major brand, and I continue to contribute as an editor for a few fashion&lifestyle magazines. That experience shaped my eye for style, detail, and storytelling... something I strive to bring into every frame I capture. In my spare time, you’ll often find me shooting street photography during my travels, always seeking to capture the beauty of everyday moments.
When I'm not behind the camera or exploring new places, I’m most likely at home with my family and playing with our son, Sven.
